Becoming aware of a whole new world
That hidden world came into focus at Wild Rescue nature reserve this Biodiversity Month, when visitors gathered for a special event on 19 September dedicated to two of its most fascinating inhabitants: beetles and moths. South Africa’s beetles and moths play vital roles in pollination, food webs and healthy ecosystems. A Biodiversity Month event at Wild Rescue is encouraging people to look closer at the often-overlooked insects around them.
